Petra Korner is an award-winning cinematographer, who is based in the US as well as in Europe. After decades of living in New York, Paris, Los Angeles, London and Buenos Aires, she recently relocated back to her native Vienna.
With degrees in cinematography from NYU’s Tisch School of Arts, as well as the prestigious American Film Institute Conservatory (AFI) in LA, Petra has served as the Director of Photography on American and international feature films; both for major studios and independent, high-end TV drama and commercials. For her career achievement in cinematography, Petra was awarded with the Kodak Vision Award at the Women in Film Awards in Hollywood. Her most recent release is the medieval adventure The Letter for the King, currently streaming on Netflix worldwide.
Filmmaker Vero Bollow tells stories about science, technology, and the idiosyncracies of the human spirit. Her international feature, The Wind and the Water was nominated for the grand jury prize at the Sundance film festival. In 2014, she founded Stochastic Labs to support pioneering creative ventures in the SF bay area. Vero holds master’s degrees from MIT and Columbia. She is also the director of the Minerva Foundation.
